WAPDA Job Opportunities 2026 for Retired Army Officers in Security Department

The latest WAPDA Security Jobs 2026 are suitable for retired officers from the Pakistan Armed Forces who have served at the rank of Colonel, Lieutenant Colonel or Major, or equivalent rank. The appointment will be made on a contract basis initially for one year, including a six-month probation period, and may be extended on satisfactory performance and requirement of the organization. Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in WAPDA formations within Pakistan.

Eligibility Criteria for WAPDA Jobs 2026

Candidates applying for these posts must be retired officers from the Armed Forces and must fulfill the rank requirement given against each position. For Director (Security), the candidate should be a Retired Colonel / Lieutenant Colonel or equivalent rank officer. For Deputy Director (Security), the candidate should be a retired officer of the rank of Major or equivalent.

The maximum age limit is 52 years for Director Security and 50 years for Deputy Director Security. No further age relaxation is allowed in the prescribed age limit. Age will be calculated on the last date of receipt of applications.

How to Apply for WAPDA Jobs 2026

Candidates should visit the Central Testing Services (CTS) website at www.ctspak.com for submission of applications within 15 days of publication of the advertisement. Applicants must clearly specify the post for which they are applying.

Candidates are required to pay the test fee of Rs. 170/- to M/s CTS in any branch of Bank Alfalah, UBL, MCB or Bank Islami through the prescribed bank challan form available on the CTS website. The fee may also be deposited directly into the CTSPAK bank account through banking applications. The paid receipt must be attached with the application form.


After online submission, candidates must send a copy of the submitted online form along with attested copies of educational documents, domicile certificate, CNIC, retirement orders containing SOS/SOD issued by MS Branch, relevant experience certificates and two recent passport-size photographs. The complete application package must be sent by courier or Pakistan Post to the CTS office.
